It’s that time of year again and the mountain is open! With cold temperatures and a little help from Mother Nature, Park City Mountain Resort opened this past Saturday for the 2009 – 2010 ski season. There were many happy skiers on the hill this weekend and the resort did an excellent job getting the few runs ready to ski. Though crowded at times, you were still able to make some good turns to get those legs ready for another great ski season. I rented a pair of Volkl AC50’s from the best Park City Ski Shop. It is winter in Park City! It snowed in Park City on Tuesday and it stuck to the ground. People were making turns at Alta yesterday on 16 new inches of snow on October 1st! I exercise each morning all around Park City and let me tell you, it’s cold! While walking up and down Main Street, it’s great to see Park City Ski Shops getting their gear ready for the season!
