Spring skiing!!

by admin on March 17, 2009

Spring skiing is here in Park City Utah but the skiing is still great! Nice sunny blue bird days with the temp not to warm to be melting all the snow yet so you can still lay into those turns. This up coming week looks to be more of the same highs of mid 40’s with night lows in the upper 20’s and sunny! This is the time of year to hit the slopes with your buddies, take a few runs then grab a beer and sit in the sun and enjoy the mountian air. Check out the Pig Pen at PCMR by the ice rink for some good beer and food at the end of the day.

The Snow Is Flying In Park City!

by admin on February 9, 2009

It is finally looking more like a winter wonderland in Park City after a dry spell!  The snow is falling hard and will continue to do so throughout the week.  If you were looking at last week’s forecast and planning on riding carving skis, it may be time to check out some powder skis at your local Park City Ski Shop!  A ski that is wider at the shovel and underfoot will be perfect for the champagne powder that is gracing the Wasatch Mountains.  Get ready for your Presidents Weekend ski vacation and call your favorite Park City Ski Rental Shop for some fatter skis today!

El Chubasco

by admin on February 7, 2009

After a day of hitting the slopes, take time to visit El Chubasco. The Mexican restaurant is a very cheap but delicious eat. It will fill you belly and tickle your taste buds. I currently am eating the vegetarian burrito and loving it. i added the special orange sauce to it to give it a little spice. I highly recommend anything on the menu and it will definitely get you prepared to ski the next day. After you grab your skis and have a nice day on the slopes be sure to check out El Chubasco.

Snow Just in Time For Presidents Day!

by admin on February 7, 2009

In Park City for the last few days skiers have been enjoying back to back bluebird days across the region. Well that was fun, but the weather moving in for the weekend suggest that those days are over for now. The extended forecast projects snow everyday for the next week! The snow is just in time for Presidents Day Week, so put a hold on on life for a few days and give the family the ski vacation they have been waiting for. On your way out the door leave you old ski equipment at home and rent 2009’s best ski equipment from and a Park City Ski Shop. The Mountains are waiting!

Blue Bird Day in Park City, Utah

by admin on February 5, 2009

The sun has been out over the past week, making each day a legendary Blue Bird corduroy day with fast groomers on the slopes of Park City Mountain Resort and The Canyons Ski Resort.  Along with great Utah ski rentals, sunscreen has been a must. Weather outlook? Looks like snow is on the way, so conditions over President’s week should be optimal.

Hopefully we will see you on the the slopes with Deer Valley Ski Rentals shortly and maybe this will be your photo posted here!the Summit of a Utah ski resort

Other fun in PC

by admin on February 2, 2009

Believe it or not there is a lot more to Park City and its surrounding towns than just skiing. Yes, skiing is what makes this town and it will always be the best! But sometimes families that are here for a long trip look for something else to do on their vacation. There are two tubing hills, one in Park City and another in Midway at the site of the 2002 cross country events. Another fun thing is snowmobiling. There are many different companies that do this but I think Red Pine Touring is the best. When doing these things have fun but remember Park City skiing is the best thing to do in this town.
