Park City, Utah used to be a small mining town, today it is a world class ski destination with some of the greatest snow on earth. Visitors come to Park City to experience the skiing but they leave with a great appreciation of a small community that is very proud of its past. Old Town, where Historic Main Street is located has hundreds of small “Miner Homes.” Thanks to the city, all these homes must keep some portion of the past if they are going to renovate the home. Because of this many of the new buildings also have the miner feel to them. When you travel to Park City next perhaps stop by the museum on Main Street to learn more about the past to understand why Park City is what it is today.
