For those spoiled powder hounds out there that refuse to ski when the slopes are busy, we are approaching your time of year. After President’s day there are no holiday’s to fill the slopes. For people pulling into town without skis, Park City Ski Shops have plenty of inventory to go around. On the big days I suggest the Volkl Mantra. At 97mm underfoot with a metal top sheet it is the perfect all-mountain tool. Whether it is a 36 inch over night dump or the last snow hasn’t come for two weeks the Mantra will not treat you wrong.
